Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright yellow-golden color with a huge foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was musty with crisp orange, lemon, pepper and bread. The flavor was musty, dusty and semi-sweet with notes of orange, pepper, dust and bread. Medium length finish. Medium body. Solid.

Bottle pour. Pours a light yellow with a fizzy lasting head. A lot of orange peel aroma with some spices. Flowery mild flavor, with some easy spice and orange flavor. Really nice, refreshing summer style beer. Overall, good beer.

Draft @ The Ale House, Amesbury. Bright unfiltered gold color with small retention. Aroma and flavor is bright citrus and light spice. The flavor is much better than I was expecting since I don’t really like this brewery as a whole. This brew is respectable and was a nice surprise. Belgian yeast upfront with nice citrus throughout. The coriander spice is low and thankfully subdued. The yeast and citrus make it refreshing for me on a real warm Labor Day. Drinkable summer brew.

A pale blonde wit with a thin white head. In aroma, light fruity malt with light orange peel, mineral notes, soso. In mouth, a light sweet wit with light banana, cloves, mineral notes, boring. On tap at Empire Brewfest 2014.

Crisp light hazy straw golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of coriander seed, yeast, wheat, corn and a lot - the most amount of curacao and straight up orange smells. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong wheat and spicey yeast character at first with a good amount of clove and grassy hay flavours, but again the curacao dominates the flavour with a hint of sugar at the end. Aftertaste is pungent yet dry and strong yet very smooth. Overall, a nice and relatively mild wit with a strong orange and curacao flavour. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Black’s Barbecue in Lockhart, Texas sampled while eating some good food on 06-May-2014.

Bottle. Light lemon, coriander, and wheat malt aroma. Mostly clear golden yellow with giant white head. Lightly sweet lemon/orange, coriander, and wheat malt flavor. Light body. Not bad for Shiner.

Coriander nose, somewhat buttery. Clear golden, thick sudsy head, good lacing. Coriander, wheat bread, lemon base. Medium body refreshing. Lacks a bit of authenticity, but it drinks pretty good.

Light coriander, very watery palate. Pours slightly cloudy blonde with some head and lacing. Not super great - glad I had this for free at Whole Foods. Tap.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a mostly clear, light gold with minimal head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and orange peel, but it’s hardly there. Taste follows aroma, lightly sweet. Light bodied with a thin texture. Somewhat fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Meh, not bad but nothing i would seek out again.

Bottle: Slightly hazy, fizzy gold with a small white head. Aroma is bread/yeast, lemon, wheat. Buttery, slightly nutty, cereal wheat, citrus taste... Creamy, malty....a bit of spice...cinnamon? Really not bad...a different sort of Wit.
