Imperial Coffee Stout
Approaching winter every year, we tap (pun intended) our neighbours and good mates, LORDS SUPPLY, on their shoulder to get some freshly roasted Giddy beans and delicious cold brew to add to our boilers and fermenters. This creates a delicious, robust and smooth imperial coffee stout that pours perfectly for the colder months. We've upped the ABV since 2024 - with the brand new Lords Supply™ GIDDY roast and a few tweaks from our brewer James - this 2025 version of the Dark Lord has hit 8.4%.

From a 375ml can on 6/6/2026 (shared with Ed). Pours a deep brown with not much in the way of head. The nose is dark chocolate with a good dash of espresso. Tastes of dark chocolate, a bit of caramel and lots of coffee, with a light roasty finish. Fullish bodied with moderate carbonation. Exhibits lovely balance and is very tasty.

Can. Black, a fat light tan coat fades. Aroma of fairly dark roasted malt, fruity coffee, dark sugars. That;s how it tastes too. Fairly sweet with enough roast and coffee that by the finish the sweetness doesn't linger. Pretty good, nicely balanced.
