Bottle @ Chriso pre-GBBF Shindig 2016. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy aroma. Fruity malty caramel hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle shared at the pre GBBF chriso’s tasting day 1 06/08/2016. Many thanks to Beer Hunter. A mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is nice fruity hop. Jammy, pine, tropical notes. Flavour is composed of tangy. Brown malts, brown bread, tangy, little toasted pine and apricot. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Good black ipa.

500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Herbal and slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma, roasty dark malty basis, hints of lemon, lemongrass, balm, tarragon-spiced mustard. Taste is citrusy hoppy, roasty dark malty background, notes of lemon, lemon zest, a touch of orange, some grassy hop as well, malty basis with cautious hints of liquorice and dark chocolate, a touch of mustard-like tartness throughout. Nice composition fighting somewhere in the bantam- if not flyweight regions.

Pre shinding 2016. Leicht trübes orange braunes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch süß mild röstmalzig, dezent hopfig bitter, rote Früchte. Geschmack mild röstmalzig, süß, Bonbons, leicht hopfig.

Draft. Black color, creamy foam. Aroma: resinous, black currant, fruits and a little pine. Taste: hoppy, pine, berries, black currants, pine, earthy, good bitterness, very good.
