Our first-ever Altbier was long overdue…I mean, Alternate Ending without an Altbier? That’s been a plot hole waiting to be filled. So here it is, Alt End #10, brewed with the amazing crew at Lost Tavern out of Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. While we’ve admired their work for years, this marks our very first collab together at AE, and we couldn’t think of a better way to kick things off.
Our version of this classic style is smooth, malty, crisp, bitter but finishing clean, and endlessly drinkable.
Step into The Devil’s Triangle—mystery, legend, and our first Altbier, finally brought to life.

16 oz can from the brewery, 10/16/25. It pours a burnt orange-darker reddish color, with a beige head and heavy lace. Rich caramel and grainy malts. Sweat, toffee notes. Touch of bready / roasty dryness. Bitter earthy notes for balance. Very smooth and balanced mouthfeel. Sweet upfront, a little drier toward the close. Quite nice overall. Fun beer.
