Spring Bock is a Germany style Maibock, is one of the original seasonal beers. It’s a lighter, hoppier take on the classic Bock, a a family of strong, malty lagers that undergo extended aging to mellow out their bold flavors. Traditionally brewed in winter and unveiled in spring, Maibock’s are patiently aged to smooth out their bold flavors.
Spring Bock has a biscuity, toasty, nutty, malt soul, like fresh baked bread, with a smooth velvety body and finish from 6 week long cold maturation. It’s balanced by a sparkling, hop-centric personality from the use whole cone hops and multiple additions of flavourful low alpha varieties.
Spring Bock is the beer equivalent of fresh-baked brioche bread. Expect a spritzy, fresh hop character perfectly balancing malty layers of biscuit, caramel, and honey toast; all wrapped in a velvety body and smooth finish thanks to a month-long cold maturation.

On tap at Soul Barrel. Pours clear gold with a white head. Bready nose, fresh crust, slightly floral. Flavour has a great, clean malt profile with dry, grassy, floral hops. This is probably the best maibock I've had to date.
