Mind the Hop is a Double IPA that really hits home for us. One of the first beers we ever made. MTH is Double Dry Hopped with Citra which gives it notes of citrus and tropical fruit salad. Light pine and a little bitterness help round it out.

Admin Note: Like other Aslin IPAs, recipes bounce back and forth between double dry-hopping and not. The cans aren't labeled differently.

Can 473ml @ Jobb
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, orange, grapefruit and tropical. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus, orange and grapefruit finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Dusty papaya and guava aromas. Thick with sweet honey and caramel upfront turning to lemon joy before the bitter, earthy peel and crushed pith finish.

Hazy (not cloudy), sediment-laden dark orange body, thick puffy cream head. Hot nose with earthy-acidic citrus, tropical fruits, nectar, and alcohol. Body sharp citrus and citrus rind, peach, melon, candy, and booze. Rather aggressive, which makes this stand out among Aslin’s IPAs, though not in the best way.

Huge, very dense yellowish head over hazy yellow-orange-golden beer, with all the yeast & proteins in suspension and textbook lacerings. Citrus, orangepeel, dry hopbales, straw; ever so slightly toasted hops, toast with cold omelette. Very hopoil-crafted, bit oppressive, musk, dry herbs and a bit orange pulp. Long dry aftertaste. Feels oily, and rather well-bodied, but alcohol is hidden. Not much carbonation after initial pouring. Good, but far from stellar.

473ml can. Cloudy, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Juicy, fruity, hoppy aroma, a conglomerate of yellow stone fruit, citrus fruit (orange, mandarine etc.), rather unspecific fruitiness overall, some zesty aspects, some alcohol. Taste is bitter, fruity hoppy, slightly alcoholic, hints of yellow stone fruit, citrus fruit (orange, mandarine etc. again), a zesty touch, a liqueur touch; citrus flafours turn into lemon direction into the finish. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, very fine, soft carbonation. Almost a bit boozy, more orange liqueur like than really juicy fruity - underwhelming.

Impressed with this one despite it most likely being at least 7+ weeks old. Yellow tropical fruits, grass and vanilla. Cracker malt and a hint of alcohol sweetness. Great!
