“They’re here…”
This beer pours a shadowy deep brown with a haunting tan head that rises like mist from the beyond. Aromas drift from the glass like whispers from static, with rich brown bread entwined with cinnamon, clove, and ginger. On the palate, honeyed bread beckons before spectral waves of pie spice and fruitcake wash through, echoing a feast with the other side. The mouthfeel is silky and unnervingly smooth, as if pulled by unseen hands, while a chilling sweetness lingers just long enough to fade into a soft, spectral finish that leaves you wondering if it was ever really there at all.

Draft pour at Strangeways Fredericksburg. Poured a dark cola color with a small, tan head. Aroma was sweet, pumpkin, roasted malts. It's really sweet and malty, but not like sweet-sweet sweetness. Decent malty character. Liked this one.
