Pours a somewhat hazy golden orange and has a one finger white foamy head, slightly clingy light foamy lacing, leaves some rings goin’ down; the aroma has a strong sort of strong citrus, pine and floral aromas up front, just a tad of peppery spiciness that seems to be combined just right with a slight maltiness, I’m impressed; the flavoring is mainly bitter and spicey, sweet citrus aftertaste, zesty orange dry finish; its pretty easy on the palate and somewhat sessionable, carbonation seems adequate for the style and perhaps just a bit sharper than most APA’s for me, still enjoyable; overall, it has what it takes to be a pretty well done APA that can hang with the best of them, well worthy of buying again

Aroma is moderate high amount of floral and pine hops. A little wet wheat in the background. Color is orange and is clear with an off white head that lingers. Citrus hops dominate with the back palate showing that resiny, funk from Citra. Saltine cracker from mid palate on. Mouthfeel is medium-thin and a little watery with a moderate bitter finish. Pretty nice offering.

Bottle from StefanSD, many thanks. Orange golden color with medium white head. Aroma of oranges, orange zest, grapefruit, malt. Taste, short malty base followed by nice kick of aromatic hops. Long hoppy finish. Good.

Bottle pours a slightly hazy orange amber with a thin off-white head. Faint hoppy aroma and a mild malty flavor. Some bitterness at the end but not very interesting’

Sample at the Willoughby PBCCP tasting on 11/17/2013: Murky pale amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, citrus and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at Yard House Houston. It pours a lightly hazy dark golden body and a small, dense off-white head. The aroma has some caramel maltyness, but it’s the hops that dominates. Pine cones and some citrus notes. Quite dry on the palate, with a soft carbonation, medium to full body. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, both initially and towards the end. Pine cones and some hop pellets. Not bad at all, but it’s somehow boring anyway. 131112

Purchased at a random liquor store in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed at home while watching a Bears game on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Appearance is a bright amber gold, moderately cloudy, rich white head that lightly laces to the glass. Aroma of caramel malt, rich in a variety of hops as well, kind of smells somewhere between a barley wine and a pale ale, rather unique. Taste goes down with a moderate thickness, nice hop profile, nice bitterness as well. Pretty good stuff.

Pours light amber with high rocky head. Lots of sticky lacing and a nice piney hoppy aroma, with a little malt in the background. Taste is full on astringent hops which lingers on the palate. Bitter but enjoyable.
