The brown ale to end all brown ales. Enjoy it, because there is no longer any reason to drink another. You’ve reached the pinnacle. A healthy blend of traditional British malts give this popular style a semi-sweet, biscuity, slightly roasted flavor. Oats thicken the mouthfeel, and a handful of specialty malts add complex chocolate, toffee, and caramel notes. The hops are mostly traditional, earthy British hops, but we cocked it up a bit with some Cascade late in the boil just to show those snooty Brits that we don’t approve of that Constitutional Monarchy crap.

16 oz can. Clear dark mahogany color with a huge light brown head and great retention. Minor lacing. Thin mouthfeel for a brown and too much carbonation. Light molasses and nuts flavor. Overall good but muted flavors. A pedestrian brown. Very drinkable.

Thin beige head left a cover on a clear mahogany coloured, still body. Milk, coffee & brown sugar aroma. Medium bodied, very dry, minimal carbonation & clean on the back. Thins out a lot on finish. Burnt coffee, malt, bitter hops & grape hints. Each mouthful just tastes less & less impressive - so let down on the back with no body, taste or substance whatsoever.

Can from BrewDog online and drunk at home. Clear very deep brown colour lasting beige head. Brown malty aroma. It's a brown malty beer. F8ne. Decent. Balanced. Not overly hoppy. S9me dryness on the finish. S9me dry brown malty mouthfeel. Its ok.

Surprisingly tame brown ale, more like a session IBA, offering up biscuit and slight cocoa brown ale notes up against a heavy Cascade finish. Malts are very, very mild, mainly giving a toasty undercurrent laced with caramel and bread. Hops add a piney bitterness on the back with a strong yeasty backbone. Underwhelming nose hints at biscuit and pine. Pours thin for a brown, coming out a brownish-red but giving up little head or lacing. Watery feel doesn't help. Neither does the can. Christ. Get it together, TTB.

Pint can from Total Wine Reno. Pours a deep chestnut brown with a large frothy tan head. Aromatic with roasty and toasty notes, nutty, light chocolate. Robust and inviting. Smooth transition of flavors, there is a lot of roast, some espresso, dark chocolate, and a little earthy nuttiness. Medium weight and very easy to drink. A solid effort. Glad I bought this; I almost didn�t based on the can�s artwork� probably would have been amused by this back in the South Park days, but now I find it in poor taste. The saving grace is the beer itself is quite good.

16 oz can. Pours a cola color with moderate head of big bubbles. Aromas of chocolate malts and cola with metallic hints. Thin flat flavours of same. It’s just a simple brown ale.

Some roast and a little raw barley. Pours brown with decent head and lacing. Light caramel. Bittersweet finish. Can is more against the grain than Gluten Free activists.
