Sample during the "Uber-Kurt (10,000) Celebration" on 12/13/2014, part of a vertical including 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2006, 2002, 1997 & 1988. Brownish-amber pour with a medium light beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, dried fruit, malt, trail mix and brown sugar. Full-bodied with flavors of earthy yeast, dark fruit, brown sugar, grainy malt and berries. The finish is fruity Belgian yeast and caramel malt. Endlessly complex and enjoyable. Superb beer all around.
