Wet Hop American Summer is our special two-year anniversary ale. Made in partnership with Organarchy Farm in Oldtown, Maryland, Wet Hop America Summer is made with the freshest organic hops available in DC! Only available at harvest, forty pounds of Cascade hops were picked in the morning and added to the beer that afternoon. The large dose of wheat adds crispness and a slight haze, and the cascade hops provide a nice grapefruit bitterness.

Draft. Hazy amber color. Aroma of grapefruit and light pine. Taste is earthy citrus. OK.

Lots of citrus and pine but imbalanced on the whole. Pours amber with great pillow of head and good lacing. Light bitter finish with some astringency and an odd mash aroma. Tap at Meridian pint.
