Bottle at the Star & Garter, Bromley. Reddish black pour, no head. Blueberry, vanilla, licorice toffee and dark chocolate aroma. Flavours of biscuit, currants, blackberries, blueberries, a little coffee. Liquid cheesecake action. Soft carbonation. One to savour. Excellent.

0.33 l bottle from ’Beergium’, best before September 2020. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, quickly diminishing, light brown head. Sweetish, malty, moderately roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, some vanilla and hints of blueberry. Very sweet, malty and moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, praline, vanilla, hazelnut, coffee, blueberry and some mint, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, earthy-dry finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really tasty, very intense flavours as well, but an artificial touch cannot be denied. Still, I love drinking this and and hope to try the BA version at some point.

Wonderful stuff. Blueberry with cheesecake, just like the recipe says but with booze - quite a lot on finish. Aftertaste comes off a bit astringent as a result. Oily consistency. Black pour with mocha head. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Smoke and Barrel.

Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Pitch black pour with minimal tan head. Aroma is marshmallow blueberry tartness, nuttiness, and some cheesecake evident too. Taste has rich malty blueberry sharp sweetness, cheesecake less noticeable but still present. Palate is heavy and not very much carbonation. Definitely achieves what it sets out to do in terms of blueberry cheesecake. Not as heavy or gooey as some of the other huge omnipollo stouts - which is good.

Draught@CBC2016. Black colour with a creamy beige head, that leaves lace. Quite a thick fluid. Aroma is blueberries, chocolate, some nutty notes as well as mild alcohol, liquorice and mild roast. Flavour is blueberries, alcohol sweetness, some liquorice, mild vanilla, red berries as well as some coconut and mild almond notes.

Bottle - Bluberry filled the room, not even close to it yet. Fudgy chcolate and blueberry notes. Jet black with a rich bust small brown head. Huge chocolate, fudgy with some vanilla and blueberry notes. It does get a bit artificial after a while, but it is still a ton of fun and comparatively well done.

330ml bottle shared with Stuu666. Pours black with a thick beige head. Aromas of blueberry, chocolate, biscuit, nuts. Really strong nose. Lots going on. Coconut, strawberry. Taste is all of this and more. This is fucking lovely stuff. Proper beer "moment". Rich mouthfeel, lots of fruit and biscuit. Amazing gear.

Bottle shared at home. Black with tan head. Big sweet fruity cheesecake up front, blueberries, vanilla, strawberries, baker’s cream, backed by roasted hazlenut, butterscotch, milk chocolate and capuccino. God damn this is nice pie. Big sweet and light nutty chocolatey bitter. Medium body, low carbonation. Soft almost velvety feel followed by an alcoholic pucker. Sweet and bittersweet chocolate drenched fruity finish. Very nice!

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 1 Oct 2016) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, vanilla, coffee and blueberries. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with chocolate, vanilla, blueberries, marshmallows, dark rum, coffee and a gentle bitterness in a finish with a warming alcohol glow. Full body, quite sweet. Hardly subtle, but tasty and warming. Nice one. (7/4/7/5/14=3.7) Rerate: (Bottle, 7 Nov 2021) Black colour with brief beige head. Roasted, spicy nose with blueberries, chocolate cake, coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, Oboy powder (Swedish Ovaltine) and a touch of ginger. Malty, roasted, spicy taste with notes of blueberries, chocolate cake, vanilla, cream, cinnamon, coffee, ginger and a mild roasty bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, quite sweet. Fairly unbalanced, going in all directions, but still really tasty. Very nice.

Fat Bryggarhunden Malmö. Doftar åhhh blåbärspaj precis som i Twin peaks . Öhh eller ja doft tv fanns ju ej då på den tiden Twin peaks gick . Men ni fattar. Smaken ??
