NEIPA
Due to the substantial American cohort at Mountain Culture, English to American and American to English translations are commonplace.
To help break down the cultural divide we’ve brewed an IPA combining an all American lineup of West Coast hops, British yeast and a New England malt bill. Because as we all know, New England is exactly half way between Britain and the US West Coast.
Starting with Mosaic at its centre (center) to create a base of sweet berries and tropical fruits, we added in Columbus creating a layered complexity complete with floral and citrus notes before dry hopping with Amarillo to optimise (optimize) those ripe orange notes.
It’s a NEIPA bursting with flavour (flavor) and the perfect place to discuss the differences that make the world such a colourful (colorful) place.

From a 500ml can on 2/12/2025. Pours a lightly hazy deep golden with a medium to biggish head. The nose features sharpish citrus and tropical notes. The flavour follows suit, with some mandarin and nectarine most prominent, finishing with a moderate bitterness. Silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Solid enough but a long way from their best.
