Cask gravity at the st Albans veer festival 2015. Black brown coloured pour with reddy hues, and a loose dirty tan head. Aroma is odd caramel biscuit malts, faint parma violets, grass, semi sweet. Flavour is a little thin, faint tropical, light choc, lavender and a hint of lemon cif, faint roast, toast. Palate is medium light, little thin, moderate to low carbonation. Mediocre black IPA.

Gravity cask at St Albans beer festival. One of the special beers, brewed for the festival’s 20th anniversary, which also coincides with the brewery’s 20th year. Opaque brown color. Light roasty aroma. Taste is fruity coffee. Decent enough.
