Bottle from Micro Beer Crate. Pours a clear amber with small beige head, little retention. Malty aroma with caramel, apple, raisin. Taste is the same, nice balance between malts and fruitiness Nice bitter.

Bottle from the brewers. Poured a clear copper colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt, woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, earthy, nutty, light herbal, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. A solid English bitter.

Bottle from Budgens in Abbots Langley, Herts. An amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Fruity, malty, caramel aroma. Tastes fruity, malty, caramel with a slight bitterness. Enjoyable English bitter from my nearest brewery.
