RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at La Cervecita Nuestra De Cada Dia. Pale golden colour. Noticeable Centennial hops, but aroma and flavour are fairly well balanced with the spelt malts. Citrussy notes.

On tap in La Cervecita Nuestra De Cada Dia, Barcelona on 8th July 2016 with the RBESG guys. Poured a clear light gold, weak white head. Aroma was leaning towards citrus. Taste was also on the citrusy side, grassy notes with a mild floral twist in the finish. OK, but not really ’my thing’.

From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and citrusy. Smooth fruity, crisp hoppy. Btter and slight floral fruity finish.

Straw blond with thin, soapy head. Has a very crisp taste. Pleasantly dry and bitter but with a notable sharp, tangy citrus edge.

(Bottle, Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 21 Feb 2016) Hazy yellow colour with dense, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of peaches, grass, white bread and fresh hops. Malty, hoppy taste with bread, grass, grapefruit, lemon and a fresh, balanced bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty. Quite nice.

[1/30/16] Bottle sample at the Encomium bottle share, after RateBeer Best awards ceremony at Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel in Santa Rosa. Thanks everyone who shared bottles! Golden. Grainy aroma with some soapy citric hops. Grainy, bitter hops, citric. Medium-bodied.

0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, best before September 2017. Slightly hazy, straw yellow with a huge, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish-sourish, fruity-grassy and soapy aroma of lemon peel, quince, pineapple and pear. Sourish, slightly bitter and fruity-soapy taste of lemon peel, quince, pineapple and pear, followed by a medium long, sourish, slightly bitter finish with notes of grapefruit. Medium body, spritzy and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice, refreshing stuff!

Tasting glass draft @ Van Moll Brewpub. Very clear orange, creamy white head. Nose is orange hops, caramel, candy. Taste is orange, citrus, peel, hay, sugar, grapefruit, huge peel, creamy grainy base, mellow malts, hop,… Drinks nicely. Pleasant surprise. Nice easy drinking beer.
