Panda thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, decent bubbly tan head. Airy palate, smooth, mild fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a tangy chocolate, a little tangy ice cream van chocolate syrup. Red candy marshmallow. Darker chocolate on the back end. Hangs together pretty well. Pasty and sweet but, not overly so.

375ml bottle. Pours black with a thin tan head disappearing immediately. Aroma of chocolate and nutty malts, marshmallows. Taste is very sweet, chocolate, vanilla, marshmallows, nutty malts, gentle boozy warmth. Medium bodied, smooth.
Minor complaints: I do wish they'd have added a bit of smoke to really sell the campfire vibe, and it lacked body for an 11% stout. That aside, a solid pastry stout and no lactose.

On tap. Pours black with no head. Aromas of burnt marshmallow, dark sugars, chocolate, vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors of dark chocolate, alcohol, vanilla, burnt sugar and dry roasted malts.

Bottle at CBJ Tasting. Dark and glossy. No head. Aroma is sweet with light bitterness. Chocolate sponge. Flavourwise it's initially sweet with a bitterness then appearing. Chocolate brownies or such like. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish.

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. From hotm. A thick dark brown black coloured pour with a reluctant tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, sweet nutty, praline, peanut butter. Flavour is composed of marshmallow, thick, chewy, snores, toasted coconut, brown sugars, jammy fruits, light tang. Palate is semi sweet z chewy, thick, velvety,. Good. Lingering liquorice.

100ml draught at The Mall Tavern. Deep black body, shiny naked surface, poor lacing. Attractive on the nose with dark chocolate malts to the fore, nicely roasted. Well mixed taste profile of prunes, vanilla chocolate, and a drop of nuts. Smoothly, long lived roasted finish. Well bodied. Good drinking. (Kensington, London 01.03.2026).
