Our newest beer, brewed together with SPIN bar for their dark autumn celebration of Black Mass, is a search for a primitive, elegant, attractive form of construction that properly fulfills its functions. The ergonomic frame of a simple, reliably combined base, caramel and roasted malts, which we fortified with the addition of peat and beech smoked malt, truly resembles an ancient wheel - the creation that started civilization. True to the traditions of historical Baltic porters, lager fermentation and long aging at low temperatures only emphasize the restrained, balanced character of our Kola, and every sip is like the warming crunch of wooden wheels against forgotten cobblestones.
