Belgian-Style Pilsner
A little something to lean on. When the knees begin to tremble. Just the dose of reaffirmation we were seeking. Belgium plays a special role in the tale of Burial. Doug, Jess, and Tim visited 15 years ago and after that trip, built a homebrewing system. Years later, Jess and Doug returned, after meeting Joran Van Ginderachter at Halfway Crooks, and paid a visit to his family's sheep farm. With that trip in mind, we've crafted this Belgian-Style Pilsner together for Burial's 12th Anniversary. Mashed with Belgian Pilsen Malt from Dingemans. And hopped with Brewers Gold.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 7.5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
This beer is a slightly hazed bright golden color with a thick frothy white head that dissipates gradually to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of herbal yeast, fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral yeast, citrus, herbal hop and doughy malt. The finish is fruity yeast and mild herbal hops. Pretty good overall.
