Cask from ginger Manhattan. Creamy pour that took awhile to settle some. Toffee and light malts. Nice English style ale

Draft - Tobacco, Woody and leather notes. Deep brown with a light white head. Tastes close to the nose, but not enough to oomph.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a deep dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, English malt, and a metallic quality. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready notes, some restrained nuts and a touch of metallic quality. Even more restrained than typical milds - could use some more roast and body. Decent and drinkable, but missing something, even for a low ABV mild.

Cask at Rattle n Hum. Hazy maroon brown color. Aroma of lightly tiasted brownies. Taste is light roast, subtle sourness the doesn’t belong but doesn’t overwhelm.

Cask at Gingerman have wanted to try this for awhile glad it popped up again. Murky brown pour frothy beige head. Nose is malty hint of pine. Tastes of malt, cola, nutty, touchy of pine needles. Semi sweet finish quite mild palate. Decent.

Cask @RnH, Nyc. Dark brown color, small off-white head. Caramel and pine in the nose. Light-bodied, even watery. Light caramel and toasted malts. Piney hoppyness. Very "mild" with light acidity in the finish.

Swift Hibernian Lounge, NYC tap: Hmmm... I had this at the same bar as the person below me with the same name. In any case, it pours dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is like dark bread and mineral. Taste is slightly sweet. Pretty light. Not bad, but not really exciting.

Tap at Swift Hibernian Lounge, NYC, listed simply as ’Sixpoint Dark Mild’ - all net searches lead me to this one as the beer I reviewed had a little more clout than the other mild from Sixpoint @3.8% ABV, 25/11/13. Murky chestnut brown with a good sized beige covering. Nose is nutty, dark malts, light cocoa, toffee. Taste comprises dark malt, earthy tones, light dirt, brown bread, toffee, brown sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with underlying sweetness. Ok stuff, a little overly sweet for a mild, would have this as a brown ale a lot of the milds I have in the US wouldn’t pass for one in the UK.
