aroma has lots of malts, and a flowery subdued hoppy note that indicates much more hops in flavor than aroma. aroma is like an old-school west coast double ipa. flavor is malts, strange burnt note resembling charred bread, the malts are very good, very well balanced between sweet and just malty, not crisp, heavy. works very well. hops are almost a bit in trouble with the super solid malty base, almost leading me to think barley wine as malts are winning the flavor battle In any case, truly well tasting very solid beer that you can easily sip as something very special. great brew.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Hazy ochre, thin, white head. Aroma of unripe peach, tangerine peel, pineapple, yellow grapefruit, mango, cheese, spruce. Taste has sweetish pineapple, peach, bittersweet mandarin peel, grapefruit, bready maltiness. Piney, floral hoppy finish, more bitter stonefruit & grapefruit, slightly resinous, balanced by creamy malts. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Good but it didn't really 'stick'.
