Whether you have a long mission behind you or a full afternoon ahead, this session IPA will help keep things real. More relaxed than an IPA, but with all the hop aroma and flavor. Down to Earth is our Tribute to unsung heroes and unplanned adventures.
Down to Earth is the natural evolution (pun intended) of Bitter American, our original session ale. We thought it would be fitting to bring our space chimp home and let him chill. Down to Earth is available year-round in six-pack cans and on draft and pairs nicely with a variety of things, including lunch.

Thin watery session IPA. Kind of fits the style perfectly, although aroma is not really there. Asked my wife to smell the glass after I poured too, just to make sure my nose wasnβt broken, but no, no smell. At least it didnβt smell bad.

Sample at The Brewzaa. Clear orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of piney hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass, some musty grains and a bit of light citrus underlying. Flavor starts with grass and light grain with a growing citrus note through the finish.

12 ounce can. Amber orange pour has a small frothy beige head. Floral hop nose has citrus accents. Crisp malty flavor has biscuit and toasted grain notes. Nice citrus hops with grass notes. Light body but decent flavor throughout. Pleasant dry finish.

On tap at the brewpub Sf. Pint. Aroma is fruity citrus, pineapple, tropical fruit, bready grains, little orange rind. Translucent golden / orange coloured pour with a fading frothy white head. Flavour is simple crisp pale grains, nice citrus and tropical hop, lemon rind and mango. Firm fruity hop bitterness. Decent session ipa , but at 4.4 abv Iβm not sure this qualifies. Palate is crisp and refreshing , highish carbonation, nice drying finish. Good.

Many thanks to travlr for this can! Nice sessionable brew, not too floral, not too sweetish. The bitterness is low, the floralness medium. Refreshing but could have a bit deeper hop-aroma though.
