Whether you have a long mission behind you or a full afternoon ahead, this session IPA will help keep things real. More relaxed than an IPA, but with all the hop aroma and flavor. Down to Earth is our Tribute to unsung heroes and unplanned adventures.
Down to Earth is the natural evolution (pun intended) of Bitter American, our original session ale. We thought it would be fitting to bring our space chimp home and let him chill. Down to Earth is available year-round in six-pack cans and on draft and pairs nicely with a variety of things, including lunch.

Can shared by Marcus. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Resin aroma. Bit earthy. Med body, almost. Flavor is resin, earthy, bitter, mild caramel. It has striking flavors, and the bitter is bitter! Nice session.

Location: 12 oz can from Hoboken Vine, 5/15/15
Aroma: The aroma is floral and earthy hops, some citrus, pale malts, caramel, and some bread
Appearance: Pours clear golden-orange color with a small sheet of head and mid-heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor is minimally sweet up-front, clean malt mid-palate, and a fairly bitter close
Palate: Light-medium bodied, fairly smooth feel, not quite as clean as it could be, with a dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a nice beer. My only quibble is that it just isn't quite as clean on the hop profile as I wanted it to be. Beyond that though, there is certainly a lot to like here. I imagine the rest of these cans will go to good use by the pool or on the patio (where I am drinking this one right now).
