Cask at St Machar Bar, Aberdeen. It pours clear deep chestnut - brown with a thick, fluffy yellowy - beige head. The aroma is fragrant , festive spice, warming, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, fruit cake, brown bread and some toffee. The taste is firmly dry, woody, sappy, fragrant, festive spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, dried fruits, Christmas cake, brown bread, leather and tannins with a drying, spicy finale. Medium body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. A dum festive offering..not sure I would pint it, but a half was spot on.

Cask at the Guildford Arms. Pours clear golden amber with a rocky off-white short-lived head. Aromas of light spice and toffee. Taste is honeycomb and cinnamon. Light spicy finish.
