Can from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - amber to brown and cloudy. Foamy, beige coloured head.
Nose - red fruit, dried orange, caramel and some nougat.
Taste - sweet spices like nutmeg and ginger, cola, light smoke and generous red fruit. Again, nuts, caramel and nougat.
Palate - medium bodied at least, roasty and spicy through middle and finish.
Overall - lovely stuff!

Cask at St Machar Bar, Aberdeen. It pours clear deep chestnut - brown with a thick, fluffy yellowy - beige head. The aroma is fragrant , festive spice, warming, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, fruit cake, brown bread and some toffee. The taste is firmly dry, woody, sappy, fragrant, festive spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, dried fruits, Christmas cake, brown bread, leather and tannins with a drying, spicy finale. Medium body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. A dum festive offering..not sure I would pint it, but a half was spot on.
