Deze stout van 8% alc. is gebrouwen met 5 zorgvuldig geselecteerde mouten & " hopsoorten. Na een heerlijk koffiearoma verrast ze met een chocoladesmaak aangevuld met toetsen van bourbon en vanille.

Small, persistent cream-coloured head over virtually black beer. Nutty, coffee, tobacco, vanilla, coffeecream, chocolate. Tobacco, ashes, and much drier than the nose suggested. Black chocolate, dark grains. (Too) roasted nuts. Vanilla returns in the aftertaste. Well-bodied, good carbonation, chewy. Quite OK, but for a Bourbon barrel aged stout, I think we're entitled to a bit more punch.
