We offer for you a very special version of our "Red Sky at Night." This beer is brewed with authentic Belgian candi sugar. It's then finished in Chardonnay barrels to give the beer a complex dry finish. Old world (wine) meets new world (beer). The best of both worlds! Explore with reckless abandon.

Keg at Beer Run. Hazy orange, medium sized creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of bread, caramel, yeast, spice, toasted malt, nutmeg, mild white notes. The taste is spice, yeast, toasted malt, caramel, white grape. Medium bodied, strong lingering spice.

4oz draft pour at Rustico Alexandria. Poured a dark, slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Aroma was light red wine notes, some woody character comes through on this one. Funky saison notes dominate the flavor, with a pleasant warming sensation in the belly, but not in the throat which makes this a lot easier to consume than I first expected it to be. Light dry finish.
