A single malt imperial stout aged in Swedish single malt whisky barrels.
Taste
The initial flavor is sweet, reminiscent of chocolate syrup. In the mid-palate, a mildly salty, mineraly peated whisky note appears. The finish is very long-lasting, adding a soft alcoholic warmth to the flavors already present.
Nose
The aroma is bold and intense, hitting the nose as soon as the bottle is opened. Smooth smoky whisky and milk chocolate are the first notes to emerge. In the background, hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and white pepper play along.
Appearance
The beer is dark brown (almost black) in color. When poured, it forms a thin brownish head that dissipates quickly.
Hops
Azacca
Malts
Pilsner, Red active, Special B, Caramel 300, Chocolate, Pale Chocolate, Carafa special T-3

33cl bottle bought from the brewery shop. Pours pitch black with a short-lived, tanned head. Slightly boozy aroma with whisky, roasted malt, dark chocolate, liquor, caramel and hints of sweet licorice and dark, dried fruits. Sweet, smooth and flavourful with rather well integrated alcohol and some bitterness to balanced out the sweetness. Surprisingly easy to drink and quite desserty as expected.
