A single malt imperial stout aged in Swedish single malt whisky barrels.
Taste
The initial flavor is sweet, reminiscent of chocolate syrup. In the mid-palate, a mildly salty, mineraly peated whisky note appears. The finish is very long-lasting, adding a soft alcoholic warmth to the flavors already present.
Nose
The aroma is bold and intense, hitting the nose as soon as the bottle is opened. Smooth smoky whisky and milk chocolate are the first notes to emerge. In the background, hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and white pepper play along.
Appearance
The beer is dark brown (almost black) in color. When poured, it forms a thin brownish head that dissipates quickly.

(Keg at Põhjala Taproom, 20260530) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had wood, smoke, peat, liquorice and ash. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, wood, smoke, peat, ash, dark chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste had peat, burnt malts and bitterness. A pleasant burnt brew with balanced barrel notes.

Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, caramel, alcohol, toffee and some oak. Flavour is toffee, liquorice some berries and alcohol with mild wooden and plummy tones.

Pours black, no head. Scent is sharp, grainy whisky. Taste is full, roasty, thick. mild smokey touch. Dark chocolate. Creamy. lovely !

Opaque colour, tiny brownish head. Roasted nose has whiskey and touch of soya sauce. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Roasted, plenty of warming alcohol, peaty whiskey is evident. On sweet side. A bit rough, maybe mellows over the time. Couldn't find BB from bottle neck.

Fat på Tapphuset. Här doftar det mörk chocolaaadee.Samt wirre. Klunkar och känner först choklaadeee sen wirre och lite röda söta bär . Liiiite kaffe. Varför inte högre betyg ? Jo liiite socker och kaffe finns där som stör. Annars mye god för övrigt .

Bottle at Goblet, with the Zagreb homebrewers' association, thx guys! Very dark brown, no head. Caramel, treacle and raisins in the heavy malty aroma. Dry, caramelly taste, raisins, vanilla, some rye, light oxidation but mainly alcohol... rougher than the Roggenwolf and a bit overshadowed by it!
