Special release produced in support of the Kern Park Kross cyclocross event. Cyclocross got its start in Northern Europe, and that's where this beer originates.
This beer starts with a simple base of European Pilsner malt and some sugar to lighten the body, and is then fermented with a special strain of yeast from Northern France that generates notes of lemon, white pepper, and a little banana. It remains light in body, and falls somewhere between a "devilish beer" and a "cow with spots" if you get what we're sayin'.
QDQA sounds a lot like how you say "squirrel tail" in French (the logo of the bike race), one of the hardest words to pronounce for a native English speaker.

Tap at Amorphic. A rather solid Belgian Blonde. Big yeast tone fruity esters. Banana, pepper, melon. Really captures the style. Love to see more Belgian releases from them.
