Hagström Rajatapaus is an export stout made with Columbus and Styrian Golding hops. It is more bitter than usual export or foreign stouts, with 80 IBU. Otherwise it is quite traditional, roasted barley was used. The taste is dry and roasted, with dark chocolate and coffee nuances. Drinkability is on the high level. The aftertaste is clearly bitter and long-lasting. The beer was made at Panimoyhtiö Tuju in Lappeenranta.

Keg @ Oluthuone Haka, Helsinki.
Poured dark brown in color, near black.
Roasted malty aroma, cocoa powdery like, hint of licorice. Lovely salt licorice flavors. Coffee notes, some piney hops lurking. Balanced, gentle but firm, dry finish. Lovely.

Flavours were burnt malts, ash, liquorice, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, ash and bitterness. Pleasant.
