1970s dessert in a bottle. We took the luscious combination of sweet and sour cherries, rich cacao and smooth vanilla, then aged it in a blend of Cognac and Ruby Port barrels. Spirit warmth and oak. Brown opaque colour not much head. Spicey aroma, cinnamon, cardamon, pepper, vanilla. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Sweetish, cocoa, vanilla, cardamon ,less spicey than aroma. Ok. TCBW 26

TCBW2026. Deep brownish black colour with a tiny beigeish brown head. Aroma is cinnamon, cherries, some vanilla, mild cardamon, cocoa and mild alcohol sweetness. Flavour is rather similar to the aroma, but also has some stinging cognac sweetness with a bit cherries to it as well.

Draught at MBCC 26, Yellow Session. Well blended taste of blackcurrant, mid-sweet chocolate and cognac. Lovely. One of the best at the Millerfest this year. (Øksnehallen, Copenhagen 22.05.2026).

Appearance is oily black and slick, no head. Aroma is fudge cake, blackcurrant, earthy malt, cocoa, treacle toffee, coffee, chocolate cake, tiramisu, boozy malt, cherry hints, port wine. Can smell it a way away. Taste is sweet cherry and blackcurrant, earthy malt, espresso, dark chocolate, red wine, oaky hints, port, vanilla whisky, sweet dark fruit, cocoa powder, dark rum, toffee malt, sticky caramel. Sweet and complex, definitely a sipper.
