Coffee | Affogato | Vanilla
A-rich and decadent stout inspired by the classic Italian dessert.
Layers of roasted coffee and smooth vanilla blend with creamy affogato notes, delivering a luxurious balance of sweetness and roast in every sip.

CBHWS2026. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is mildly toasted and roasted tones with some chocolaty and mild coffee tones. Flavour is coffee, roasted malts, some nutty aelements and mild vanilla. Fermented quite dry, so not a super sweet Impy for once. Very drinkable. The coffee grows as the beer gets warmer in the glass.

440ml can. Pours a very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of creamy coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is as expected, coffee, vanilla and chocolate, sweet but enough roast malt/coffee bitterness for some balance. Medium-ish bodied, lighter than expected for a stout of this strength.

Draught keg at the Smithfield, Derby. Very dark brown, a little translucent with a swirlof tan head. Light aroma, I'm straining a bit but ultimately getting brown sugar, espresso, custard. Tastes sweet but doesn't run away with the sweetness. There a coffee-inspired bitterness setting in quickly and riding all the way to the finish. Gooey thick body with low to medium carbonation. Exciting stuff for sure and doesn't taste anywhere near 12%.
