On tap at Haandverksølfestivalen 2017. A golden-orange colored beer, lightly unclear, with an off-white head leaving lacing. Piney, grapefruity aroma with a very light malty touch. It’s full-bodied, dry and nicely carbonated, with a soft bitterness in the mouth. Pale malts in the back of the flavor, with pine cones and grapefruit up front. Long hop forward finish. A nice piney and quenching beer indeed. 170610

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton for the can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry but still has good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts. Light piney hop, light citrus. Smooth semi dry piney finish. A pretty decent IPA but also unremarkable in moist ways.

Can from Wine Tree East. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Citrus-forward nose. Iyokan, grapefruit zest and light toasted malt. Smooth and crisp and really easy to drink for the 7.4 abv. 3 months old, but flavors still stand up well. Medium bitter finish with some pine and more citrus. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lazurite on 03 Jan 2018 at 09:59 - Score: 7. Original review text: Piney, citrus forward nose. Iyokan, grapefruit zest and light toasted malt. Smooth, crisp and clean even at 3 months. Good refresher.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a shaker. White head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Pineapple and resin aromas. Soft with overripe summer fruit and bitter earth front to back. Lasting pine tar finish. Thanks to TAR for the can.
