Can from Wine Tree East. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Citrus-forward nose. Iyokan, grapefruit zest and light toasted malt. Smooth and crisp and really easy to drink for the 7.4 abv. 3 months old, but flavors still stand up well. Medium bitter finish with some pine and more citrus. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lazurite on 03 Jan 2018 at 09:59 - Score: 7. Original review text: Piney, citrus forward nose. Iyokan, grapefruit zest and light toasted malt. Smooth, crisp and clean even at 3 months. Good refresher.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a shaker. White head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Pineapple and resin aromas. Soft with overripe summer fruit and bitter earth front to back. Lasting pine tar finish. Thanks to TAR for the can.

can - There are three different entries for this beer on RB. I guess I'll go with the one that has the most ratings. This beer is hazy yellow and smells fruity and kind of dank. The flavor is bitter with citrus and resin. The malt profile is kind of different than most IPAs. Altogether it reminds me of some American strong ales. Pretty good though.

Tasting @ Tim's. Pours cloudy light yellow, like lemon juice or lemonade. Just a bit if foam. Fruity citrusy nose, medium body, sweetish base. Taste has light body but lots of character. Sweet tropical fruits with very clean hop dust. Nicely drinkable, feels bright and brisk, uplifting in a way. Great stuff.

Can shared in London - many thanks to the Duke. Pours lightly hazy gold with a foamy, white head. Crackery pale malts in the nose, rindy citrus, peach. Light-medium sweet flavour with lightly tangy lemon and peach, crisp pale malts, mild bitter rind, hay. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly fresh and juicy in the finish, lightly bitter, more pale bread, jammy lemon and tangerine. Nice one.
