Bottle from supermarket as organic (økologisk) BB Brown Ale, 6.0% ABV. Pours brown with medium, long-lasting, creamy beige head. Nose is nutty; in the mouth develops aromas of roasted malts: toffee, chocolate, sweet caramel, a bit yeasty too. The taste is initially sour, then balanced with a little sweetness; medium low bitterness, coming in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is watery, medium toffee-ish finish. It would be pretty good aromatic brown ale if it wasn’t for the off- sour taste.

Bottled 500ml from Copenhagen. Dark amber color, nice creamy beige head, lace. A bit earthy, grainy aroma with notes of yeast and caramel. Light to medium-bodied, a bit watery palate. Light caramel, late "organic-grainy" light hoppyness. Lacks substance.

Dark brown with a small off-white head. Grainy malt aroma with some nuts and toffee and a faint phenolic note. Sweetish malty flavour with fruity and nutty notes. Good mouthfeel. Despite a few yeast/phenolic hints, it’s decent enough

50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 13.01.2013
Aroma has cocoa, some coffee notes and hints of hay. Flavour has berries typical to Danish ales, some ashy notes, coffee and hints of cocoa. Decent.

Bottled. Hazy murky brown colour with a beige fluffy head. Aroma is bready malts, toffee, some slight caramel as well as some mild grainy, wooden and earthy notes. Flavour is being quite similar, but in a quite well working balance. Not all too special, but still has a quite good body.
