Why settle for anything less when you can have it all? Barrel Aged Squanderous is crafted for those who believe excess is a form of art. We’ve squandered the finest ingredients to bring you a beer that’s as rich in flavor as it is in story. This beer began as a blend of stout from Stagg Jr 8 year, Old Fitzgerald 19 year, and Bookers 8 year bourbon barrels.

Once selected and blended, we infused the aged beer with arguably excessive doses of house-toasted Georgia pecans, toasted and raw coconut flakes, Madagascar vanilla beans and Ecuadorian vanilla caviar, and some of the most aromatic cacao nibs we’ve ever seen, from Tumaco, Columbia.

These added ingredients lend deep layers of rich, chocolatey, nutty flavor on top of the already bold stout, but an assertive spirit character, still manages to make its presence known from the aroma through to a warming finish.

Bottle, courtesy of Dwayne at Bridge and Tunnel Bottle Shop. Black with small brownish head. Intensive chocolate, cocoa, coconut, fudge, barrel in the back. Dense and thick. Fantastic.

The adjuncts kind of disappear here. A touch of coconut and pecan because I’m looking for it. Barrel aged chocolate, creamy.
