12 oz. can. Dark brown color, with a big, bubbly, light brown head. The nose is cinnamon and ginger, molasses, and toffee. Sweet and roasty, with a bit of savory spice. Heavy body, syrupy, and malty. This is a very interesting stout - very cinnamon forward, with a good, sweet, creamy finish.

Can. A- Cinnamon, Rumchata. A- Black color, black liquid, beige head. T- P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, boring finish. O- Pretty boring. Can’t get any bourbon aging at all. Meaty smelling at first that turns into a cinnamon Rumchata taste. Overall, not much coming through other than cinnamon. Meh.

Can from RobertDale, thanks for the opportunity! Cinnamon on the nose as well as earthy chocolate and vanilla. Cinnamon dominates the flavor with a chocolate maltiness and hints of vanilla. Sweet milky stout very little bourbon barrel character evident, but a nice beer just the same.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home on Black Friday after running errands all day. Appearance is a thick pitch black with a robust foamy tan head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, and coffee, smells decadent. Taste is heavy on the vanilla but not overpowering, slightly syrupy, nice dessert brew, good stuff!

12oz can from the Explorer Series mix 4-pack. Canned on 10/12/15. Vanilla, bourbon, and cinnamon these are characteristics that ordinarily scare me off. Fortunately, this is a 6% beer, so shouldn’t be as scary. Though a lot of work for a smallish beer. Head is initially large and loud. But it eventually fades into nothingness, no lacing, no sign that a head every existed. Must be that cinnamon. Black beer, can’t see through it. Also fortunately, when I smell this I get no bourbon or barrel and its not vanilla crazy. Unfortunately, I think I get cinnamon stick, which is curiously different then regular cinnamon. There is a good deal of fumey coffee, a very dry barky cinnamon, and light vanilla. I did not like it at first, almost smelled like cabbage but the barrage of aromas subsided a bit. The flavor is much more mellowed out I even get a light cinnamon burn at the end, sort of like the zing from Big Red. Its a lot going on without being big or abrasive.
