Refrigerated pint can poured into a glass. Black with medium beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate, medium/thick body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is sweet milk chocolate. A touch too sweet.

Canned 1/23/23, drunk 10/18/23. Black. Unclear. Tan head immediately to ring. Stiff coffee, roast, ash, molasses, some milky character though no overt disgusting lactose. Ashy, roasty, bitter, lots of dunkin-like coffee. Bitterness lingering. Strange one here. I like all this bitterness and acid, but it's pretty ashy. Coffees pretty stale-like too. Some vanilla, cream, bitter, ashy roast. Interesting.

A black beer, a head is medium, dense and light brown. Aroma has black coffee, light chocolate. Taste has coffee, chocolate, light roastiness, why not also some liquorice. Strong maltyness in the body. Full bodied. Strong coffee.

Can from Beer Republic. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, lactose and heavy coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finisb. Oily and soft. 180823

0.473 l can from 'Beer Republic', canned in February 2023. Black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Intensely sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of coffee, cocoa, hazelnut and light vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, fairly roasty taste of cocoa, coffee, hazelnut, some vanilla and light licorice, followed by a long, quite roasty-bitter finish. Almost full-bodied, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty stout, despite the use of lactose not too sweet, loads of roast as well. Good!
