West Bank is our maple syrup farmhouse ale. We added pure Vermont maple syrup to the beer in addition to the hint of caramel malt and local barley and wheat. It is then aged in oak wine barrels for months and naturally bottle conditioned.
In this version we add fresh, whole fruit after aging the beer to bring out the unique flavor combination between the maple syrup and the sweetness of the fruit.

Bottle from Tavour: pours deep red with white head. Aroma is hefty raspberry, honey, flowers and light funkiness. Taste is very fruity, floral, some honey sweetness. Body is medium and somewhat substantial. Nice.
