This beer has a deep yellow color, a very subtle hazy appearance and a white, fine, persistent head. Its delicate scents are a perfect example of balance between the fruity, herbaceous and malty components, and give it a light aroma that invites you to drink. A sip of Nazionale reveals a little masterpiece of connections between individual tastes. Its notes of chamomile and citrus fruits, balanced out by the gentle bitterness of Italian hops - grown and harvested on Baladin’s own hop fields - make it simply complex.

(Bottle) Pours hazy golden with big white head. Aroma has peppery spice with subtle sweet fruitiness. Light body with champagne like mouthfilling fine carbonation. Taste is very pleasant and quite unusual. Light and tart balanced with the interesting spice - which having read the description I can identify as bergamot and coriander (but otherwise suspect I would not have identified them). The light tart base has some hints of white wine. There's some peppery spice too. Different, interesting, and very drinkable.

Pajiza nebulosa, de espuma blanca efervescente. Aroma especiado y cítrico. En boca es refrescante, con un punto de gas subido, base malteada y contrapunto frutal con algo de plátano, seca y especiada. Levadura presente. Bebible y fresca.

Hazy dark golden, short lived white head. Sweet malts, caramel, barley, orangepeel, coriander, spices, light tea leaves, very yeasty, something reminiscent of Orval. Moderate sugary sweet & bitter. Medium body & quite strong carb. Bit like Orval wannabe

Bottle at De Staat. Hazy dark golden with short lived white head. Sweet malts, caramel, barley, orangepeel, coriander, spices, light tea leaves, very yeasty, something reminiscent of Orval. Tap at Open Baladin, Rome. Pours pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of malt, hop, yeast, bread, fruit and light floral notes. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness and hint of sour. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.
