This pale ale was brewed using both pale malt and oak smoked malt. This adds a gentle and sweet smoky flavour which has smooth notes of vanilla and citrus. Complementary hop aromas bring brightness to the palette.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours hazy golden orange with a thin white head, nice lacing. Aromas of smoke and orange peel. Taste is bready, sweet orange peel and smoke. Dry finish. Good.

Nose - bonfire smoke and orange peel.
Taste - sweet orange peel and bready with smoky layer over the top.
Palate - medium bodied, smoky dry middle and finish.
Overall - nailed, lovely, lovely beer! Reminds me of Superking by Donzoko.
