Dark and delicious, our first true stout is brewed with a Scottish base malt, three types of rye, lots of oatmeal, chocolate malt, crystal malt and roasted barley, English hops from East Kent, plus a small dash of lactose to add a hint of sweetness.
Expect equal parts roasted coffee, milk chocolate and dark fruit layered on a deep brown, lightly creamy base.

Cask pour at Stillwell Freehouse. Pours black with a beige head. Earthy roasted malts and dark chocolate on the nose. Flavour has toasted brown bread, oatmeal, dry brown sugars, some cacao. The finish is quite dry. Nice full body. Very nice oatmeal stout.
