We’re proud to continue our exploration of the German Weihnachtsbier tradition with this year’s release: a Holiday Festbier drawn from the brewing heritage of Franconia and crafted for the quiet magic of winter.
Pouring a light golden hue beneath a soft off-white foam cap, the 2025 iteration of our annual holiday release is rooted in German beer-making. Weyermann Bohemian Pilsner malt, heritage Isaria Pilsner malt, and a touch of rye create a layered malt character, featuring notes of freshly baked whole-grain bread, subtle caraway spice, and a delicate hint of honeysuckle. Tettnanger and Hallertau Tradition hops lend balanced bitterness with gentle floral and spicy undertones, carrying the beer toward a smooth, warm, and subtly sweet finish. At 6.3% ABV, this Festbier is an appropriate expression of the season—unmistakably comfortable, warm, and generous—and represents an invitation to slow down and savor the holidays with those you love.
