Hand pumped at Malto, Riccione, Italy. Pours loaded gold, fairly transparent, with a nice fluffy head of whitish foam, medium grained. Aroma is malty, earthy, a little caramel. Body is average, with no carbonation. Taste is moderate bitter. Final is average in intensity, with a fairly long final.

Cask at jolly judge. Pours clear amber, nose is toffee, lemon, floral, taste is sweet toffee, zesty lemon. 6

Half-pint, well kept cask ale at The Pocket. Pours a clear amber-brown body, filmy layer leaving upper part lacing on the glass. Inviting on the nose with caramel malts and herbal hops. Quite similar taste character, caramel malts and herbal-leafy hops. Bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Really a well made version of the style. (Islington, London 02.03.2026).
