A blend of both our Brother David’s Double and Triple ales aged in port barrels with our house bacterial culture. This marriage of Belgian flavors with moderate sourness results in a beer that is very tart and fruity, with a sweet malty backbone.

Draught at Harry’s Hofbrau in Redwood City. This was rich caramel and boozy. Load of caramel made it sweet and cloying. A little tough to get down.

On tap deep brown with a little redish tint. Scant wispy head quickly diminishing to a thin ring of tan bubbles. Pitted fruit and raisins in a soft dark brown toasted malt profile. Modest tartness and a litel Belgian yeast slant. Very tasty malty slightly sour belgian brown.
