We‘re thrilled to introduce a new blended stout called Crackle. Similar to Oath, Crackle is a blend of young, fresh stout with more mature, barrel-aged stout - the latter component utilizing a bit of cherry wood smoked barley and locally-grown, oak-smoked wheat. Crackle was conditioned on cacao and vanilla beans. While those adjuncts bring in an impression of rich sweetness, the smoked stout lends the beer a balancing drying effect and a very subtle wisp of smoky flavor. It’s an absolute treat of a beer that opens up and evolves with grace in the glass.
