Der Printenmann ist ein naturtrübes, kastanienbraunes Starkbier auf Basis eines Dubbel belgischer Brauart. Seine gewürzige Note basiert auf der Zugabe einer original Aachener Printengewürzmischung mit Zimt, Koriander, Anis, Piment und Marzisblüte.
Ideengeber dieses Collaborationbrews ist Biersommelier Silvio Reiß, der in Stolberg bei Aachen einen Bierspezialitätenshop mit Namen „Vintäsch – Heimat der Bierkultur“ – betreibt. Praktisch umgesetzt durch die Lahnsteiner Brauerei.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, faint, amber colour with small to average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy and slightly floral aroma, mellow malty background, notes of allspice, whiffs of chamomile. Taste is sweet-ish, pale and caramel malty, spicy and slightly floral, minimally yeasty fruity, notes of allspice, hints of chamomile, caramel, a touch of sweet cherry.
Oily-watery texture, smooth, minimally cloying, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to coarse, mildly prickly carbonation.
Nice composition, maybe still a tad too light and watery for an even better integration of the adjuncts - enjoyable.
