Amber-brown, medium head. Soft toffee and good body. Moderate bitterness. Light chocolate accents. This is quality porter, moreish, subtle complexity.

On tap at Bomber. Pours black with a beige head. Dry roast on the nose. Flavour has a dry earthy roast, some dry grass notes. Soft body. More or less what I expected.

On nitro tap at Bomber, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is restrained, with toasted malt and a touch of soft, dry, earthy cocoa. Flavour is bitter, with toasted malt, metallic notes, and bitter cocoa. Annoyingly metallic, which isn’t subdued by the nitrogenation. Not too pleasant.

Dark brown, small beige head. Roasty chocolate nose. Similar palate, chocolate less evident. Dry roasted, medium bitterness in finish
