Pounder: Pencil shaving, caramel, thistle, and pine bouquet. Clear rust, thick tan head, good lacing. Oak and pine, malt. Medium body, soft carbonation. Good malt balance for what is a well hopped beer.

12 ounce bottle from Bruisin. Pours a slightly hazy red color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of spicy, herbal hops, nutty notes and a bit of toffee. The taste is caramel malts, citrus and herbal hops, toasted malts, nuts, raisin, sugared raisin. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness.
