A beautiful golden color with crisp, spicy, and malty flavors. It’s the perfect summer time refresher!

Draft at National Harbor. Hazy bright golden color, white head. Aroma is lightly funky and boozy lemons. Taste is herbal and very boozy citrus.

Sampled from the tap at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Pours a hazy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light citrus, a bit of grass and a decent amount of bready grain. Flavor has sweet citrus with earthy grains and bread notes backing.

From notes. Draft. Belgian yeast, fermented dark and candied fruits. Medium sweet. Probably one of the best beers ive had at GC. Thats not saying much but this one was decent.

tap at the release party in Ft Wayne - A manager told us this brew was 10.2% and I’m a bit skeptical it was that high, but we’ll go with it. That’s why I’ve entered it as a strong ale. As for their commercial description of "a beautiful golden color", wow, umm... no. It’s murky orange-brown. There’s a very minimal head and carbonation is light. It’s a Belgian ale, so what did they do with the carbonation? There’s a malty, lightly fruity aroma that’s pretty good. The flavor is sweet and fruity with a medium body. It doesn’t taste bad, I’m just not clear how this beer could be what they were intending.
